Here's my new tattoo! My zodiac sign is Cancer the Crab and I have an affinity for spirals of all kinds and find spiral shaped shells especially fascinating. This is the third of my elementals tattoos. I've got a small butterfly for air, a small four-leaf clover for earth (and luck) and now the shell and crab for water, my most important element. I haven't decided on my tattoo for fire, it might be a salamander. Anyway, I'm loving it and showing it off! It took about an hour and a half to complete, with one 5 minute break. Strangely enough most of the time I was biting my fist not to fight the pain but to keep from wiggling and giggling. It was tickling like crazy and I had a helluva time holding still. But it was worth the agony and discomfort and I love it. Can't wait to get more ink!
