Under Construction
Well, along with changes in my life, changes in my perspective on said life and changes in the seasons I felt the need to change the look and feel of my blog. So whaddaya think? I like it but I'm not sure how user-friendly it is for readers. I've never used a transparent template like this before and I want to be sure it's comfortably readable. To that end, I'd ask you to please take a moment and give me a "yay" or "nay". I'd like to know what you folks think before I go through the hassle of adding all of my pictures and links and widgets and such in the sidebar since Blogger deletes them with each template change. So, let me hear from you! And thanks.

I love the background, but the text is a little hard to read. Would it be possible to put a semi-transparent dark block behind the text of posts? (I read your blog on Google Reader most of the time anyway, but.)
Definitely yay!
I like the transparent effect, however the white text in the profile box is hard to read as the background image is lighter in that section. Perhaps you can add a solid background color to just the profile "cell"?
I really do like the look, but I would suggest darkening the main text just a smidgen...like a light grey or something. When it gets far enough right it can be hard to read in some spots due to blending in.
Wow, thanks so much for the feedback. I've been working on it and am still not quite happy. Blogger is giving me fits! But I'll keep at it!

I nearly went with that background as well, when I was fiddling with the old blog.

Would agree with most of what's said here. The background is so fab it kinda takes your eyes away from the text.
Hi Terri! It's good to be back. I love this background too but it's proving to be too problematic.
Hi Griffin! Your comment got me thinking so I spent five or so minutes reading back through my old posts and you're absolutely right: the background distracts the eye from the text and makes it difficult to read. So, as much as I love the art of it I'm gonna have to go with something else. Well, I'm gonna pout for a bit while I pick out another background and then I'll change it.
