Storm Damage as Art?

Click for larger version.

We had a big storm blow through these parts Friday morning. Here's the back of our barn, now sans roof. Quite a bit of structural damage, more than we've ever had, but no one was hurt.

Wow you guys really got it! I like the picture though, isn't it fun to make art out of anything?

To answer your question yes I did shoot those pictures at the Chesapeake in Lawrence Co. The one on Highway 174. The prairie is about 4 miles west on 174, 2 miles south on K and .8 miles west on farm road 2125. You would probably enjoy visiting it and seeing all the native plants.

I love your new profile picture!

Wow, I've been down K Highway a zillion times but never ventured down 2125, at least I don't think so. I would've remembered such a wide, flat, pretty area. Gonna have to do that now!

Thanks, I'm glad you like the pic. I figured it was time for a new one as my old had been up since the fall of 2005.

When you go don't be surprised that it doesn't look that big and especially doesn't look flat. It is also not marked well if at all. Just look for the flowers.

My picture is somewhat new. It is a self portrait I did at my model building workbench.

Take care Livia, hope you have a great week.
